Sambalpur, Mar 21: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, on Thursday instructed that students wear Indian traditional attire during the upcoming Techno-Cultural Festival-2024.
This decision, as per the directive of VSSUT's Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Banshidar Majhi, prohibits the wearing of Western, vulgar, or short dresses on campus during the festival.
Students wearing short clothes, half pants, or mini-skirts will be denied entry during the event. Those not dressed in ethnic outfits will be turned away at the main gate and will not be permitted to participate in the function. Additionally, the university authorities have resolved to take disciplinary action against students found violating this directive.
