
Bhubaneswar, Sept 28: There is a saying, “Vision is the art of seeing what’s invisible to others”.Thus, vision is the introspection that helps someone, sound in body & mind dream big. However, a human resource having no real vision i.e struggles whole life but eyes, can also dream bigger.
It has been proved with the unprecedented achievements of Smrutisikha, a visually impaired girl who clinched abundant success in Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Exams recently.
Breaking all the social and physical barriers, stood firm before her, Smrutisikha Bhoi, a mediocre girl from Odisha’s Sonepur district, secured a good rank in the toughest Odisha Administrative Services(OAS) Exam,managed by the Odisha Public Service Commission(OPSC)this year.
With indomitable patience, irresistible perseverance and firm commitment, she could stand at 335 Rank amongst tens of thousands of competitors, those are good at their studies with good body, mind and spirit.
With the accomplishment, Smrutisikha is going to become the first OAS officer of her kind, to serve people with her expertise.
Attributing her all success to her godly parents, cheerful Smrutisikha said, physical or mental challenge, can’t hinder someone’s way out, to dream bigger and achieve a big goal.
Blessed with the parents’ support, teachers’ morale and God’s grace, one can fight every odd, to clinch something special, she added.
On being asked, which sections of assignments she would like to join at her entry-level job, Smrutisikha said, “I would passionately serve the downtrodden, needy and people with special needs selflessly to empower them both educationally and socially, if entrusted.”
