Cuttack, Nov 29: Do you plan to visit Cuttack Bali Yatra this year with your kids? If you think to enjoy the biggest open fair along with the family and friends, must collect a ‘Child Tracking Card’ from the Police.
The Child Tracking Card will help you track your kids easily in the crowd, in case one of your children went missing here during the merry-go-round.
The Commissionerate Police has launched a unique drive to track the missing children in the crowd of the Bali yatra and unite them with their parents or guardians.
Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra has initiated the novel mechanism in which police prepared a specially designed paper card called the ‘child tracking card’ only for the Bali Yatra visitors. The card is dropped inside the pocket of children accompanying their parents with details of phone numbers, name and address.
It will help track the children if one gets separated from his/her parents in the crowd, DCP Mishra said.
Police are patrolling the fairground. If any child is found crying alone in the crowd, police would use the card kept in their pocket, he added.
The Commissionerate Police have distributed over 4,000 such cards so far. It will continue till the end of the 8-day fair, police said.
