Cuttack, Oct 7: Ashirbad Swain will lead Odisha Under 19 men's team in the upcoming Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The The Odsha Cricket Association (OCA) has chosen a 16-member squad for the BCCI event.
The other 16 members of the team are - Ashirbad Swain (Captain), Kishore Chhetri, P Sasanka, Shreyansh Bhardwaj, Subham Priyadarshi, Karan Mohapatra, Sreeraj Patnaik, Gourabh Kumbhar, Soubhagya Ojha, Sayed Tufayl Ahmed, Debashis Bagh, Rohit K Pradhan, M G Gopal, Bishal Priyadarshi (wicketkeeper), Sambit Bej and SS Bhuyan.
The team was announced in a press meet on Friday evening by Odisha Junior Men's Selection Committee Chairperson Pravanjan Mullick and Head Coach of Odisha U19 men's team Natraj Behera.
The Odisha U19 team will play all their matches in Puducherry. As per schedule, Odisha will meet Chhattisgarh on October 12, play Arunachal Pradesh on October 14, face Saurashtra on October 16, take on Rajasthan on October 18 and clash with Goa on October 20.
