Mumbai, September 3: There is a major update for fans of the Drishyam franchise. After the success of the first two instalments, actor Ajay Devgn is now gearing up to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 3.
The third instalment has reportedly been titled ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, suggesting that it could be the final film in the franchise. The development has already heightened anticipation among fans. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, while its trailer is expected to be released soon.
According to reports, the theatrical trailer of Drishyam 3 was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)on September 1. The trailer has reportedly received a U/A 16+ certificate and has a runtime of 2 minutes and 52 seconds.
The makers are also planning a grand trailer launch event in Goa. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the trailer could be unveiled on September 8 or 9. Ajay Devgn, along with other members of the cast, is expected to attend the event.
Interestingly, the trailer of Drishyam 2 was also launched in Goa in 2022, as the film was shot at locations in the state. Continuing the tradition, the makers are reportedly planning to launch the third film’s trailer in Goa as well.
However, an official announcement regarding the trailer launch date and event is still awaited from the makers.
