Bhubaneswar, Nov 3: Odisha Vigilance on Friday unearthed disproportionate assets worth crores during the house searches linked to Arjun Kumar Sahoo, Asst. Engineer, Rural Works Sub-division, Salipur, and Cuttack.
The Vigilance sleuths unearthed two buildings, including one triple-storeyed building in Khandagiri Vihar at Bhubaneswar, worth about Rs 1 crore, 21 plots, deposits over Rs 88.26 lakh, cash to the tune of Rs 5.45 lakh, three four-wheelers and four two wheelers, along other assets.
Sahoo was unable to give a satisfactory account about the seized assets. The searches are still underway.
