Cuttack, Nov 4: Odisha Vigilance on Saturday arrested Arjun Kumar Sahoo, Asst. Executive Engineer, Rural Works Division, Salipur, Cuttack district for possession of disproportionate assets.

Based on searches conducted on properties of Sahoo, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including two buildings (one multi storeyed building worth approx RS.1crore in Bhubaneswar), 21 plots, deposits over 70.09 lakhs, gold jewellery weighing approx 218 gms, cash Rs.2.83 lakhs, 3 four wheelers, etc which he could not account for satisfactorily. Sahoo has been placed under arrest and today he will be produced before Hon’ble Court of Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
