Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The logo of the first world Odia language conference - Biswa Odia Bhasha Sammilani - will be used widely with ‘Language is the Future’ tagline.
The logo of the first world Odia language conference unveiled by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on January 11 will be used in all department letters.
Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has directed this. The conference will be held from February 3 to 5.
The logo of the first world Odia language conference will be used in all government vehicles. Besides, the conference will be promoted by wall painting at mportant places, schools and colleges across the state.
This conference will serve as a good forum for exchange of views among intellectuals, researchers, scholars, and students.
Odisha is the first linguistic state in modern India. Odia language has gained the status of one of the six classical languages. The world Odia conference will discuss the past, present, and future of the Odia language and set goals for its propagation.
