Bhubaneswar, Jan 14: Mention vacancy status by January 15, directed the Odisha Home Department to the allied offices on Wednesday.
With no vacancy positions reflected in the portals of Odisha Police, Fire, OSAP and other allied institutions, the Home Department has warned the HODs to update their official web portals, mentioning the existing vacancies.
The Special Secretary to Home Department & Nodal Officer Subas Chandra Das on Monday has written to the subordinate offices in this connection.
Expressing concern with the unclear vacancies that delays in recruitments of essential manpower in varius wings, Das urged the Odisha DGP, DGP Fire Services, DGP Prisons and all departmental heads to mention the vacancy status in the prescribed format and upload the same on the official websites.
Worth mentioning, the matter is scheduled to be reviewed on January 15 in a secretary-level meeting after which appropriate steps will be initiated for prompt recruitment drives for filling up the posts.
