Puri, Nov 6: After a long gap, late Congress leader Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra's daughter and BJP leader Upasana joined party's mass connect campaign with national spokesperson and 2019 Puri Lok Sabha candidate Sambit Patra last week.
However, her paternal uncle and Brahmagiri MLA Lalitendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra were absent during Patra's Lok Sampark Campaign.
Upasana Mohapatra's constituency tour with Patra has sparked several political speculations in Puri district.
Patra has shared several photos of his campaigning with Upasana on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Now Sambit is busy in poll campaign in Mizoram after Puri visit. However, he is leaving no stone unturned to connect with Puri voters through social media.
He first appeared before media during newly appointed Odisha Governor Raghubar Das' visit to Jagannath Temple last week.
Later, he joined 10th death ceremony of a party worker in Bodala village under Ambapada panchayat in Brahmagiri Assembly constituency and visited BJP activists along with Upasana Mohapatra.
Patra further attended Laxmipuja celebrations in Bhuban panchayat and Brahmagiri market.
He also win hearts by singing a Bollywood romantic song 'Hame tumse pyaar kitna' with singer Vinod Rathod during 56th Kumar Utsav celebration at Saradhabali open air theatre in Puri.
Upasana was present with him during his every programme in the district.
