Angul, July 3: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday visited his homeland Angul.
During his visit, Pradhan stepped into the Maa Hingula shrine at Gopalprasad in Talcher and paid obeisance to the deity.
Among hundreds of BJP workers and fellowmen including Dhenkanal MP Rudra Narayan Pani, Angul MLA Pratap Chandra Pradhan, Chhendipada MLA Agasti Behera and Pallahara MLA Ashok Mohanty accompanied Pradhan who altogether made darshan of the Goddess Hingula and offered Puja to the presiding deity.
Following this, the Union Minister discussed with the Temple Managing Committee regarding further development of the shrine.
