Bhubaneswar, Feb 24: In a tragic incident, a man lost his life in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday as a hoarding fell on him.

The incident took place at Aiginia in the city during season’s first Kalabaishakhi that hit the Twin-Cities this afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Surendra, a local of Aiginia.

According to report, Surendra was commuting on the service road while high wind accompanied by hailstorm was lashing the Capital City. Meanwhile, a heavy billboard flew up and fell on him resulting grievous head injuries. Responding to his scream,bystanders picked him from the spot and rushed to the AIIMS Bhubaneswar for resuscitation. However, he succumed to injuries, on the way to the hospital.
