Bhubaneswar, Oct 13: With flee and hide & seek of the kingpins of the Odisha Police SI recruitment scam, the Crime Branch on Monday issued look out circulars against the absconded ones.
In a bid to check their ease escapes and weaken financial potential, the Odisha Crime Branch has also freezed at least 10 Bank Accounts belonging to the accused persons.
According to sources, the bank accounts of 10 persons, including key suspects Shankar Prusty and Munna Mohanty, are put on hold with due instruction to the concerned banks.
The Crime Branch has also sent seized mobile phones, computers, and other digital devices of the middlemen for forensic examination to extract crucial evidence regarding the job scam network.
Meanwhile, four special teams of the Odisha Crime Branch are conducting simultaneous raids in Jharkhand and Bihar to trace out the absconding accused and unveil the alleged outside link with the high profile job scam.
