Speaking to the press regarding the upcoming game, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the occasion. He remarked that it is a matter of great fortune for Chhattisgarh to organize this international encounter on December 3rd, noting that the people of the state are lucky to witness the action live.
The battleground for this crucial game is the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. The venue has been a happy hunting ground for the Indian side in the past. This will be the third international fixture played here. Previously, the stadium witnessed India securing a dominant ODI win against New Zealand in 2023, followed by a T20 International victory over Australia by a margin of 20 runs.
