New Delhi, Dec 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Odisha’s Puri Sambit Patra on Tuesday slammed the opposition for disrupting functioning of the Parliament.
It is unfortunate that they are not allowing Parliament to function said Patra targeting Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi.
"Rahul Gandhi ji doesn't know how to behave like a LoP", said Patra adding that it is unfortunate that the Opposition is not letting the Parliament to function.
It is not dignified that they come wearing jackets, masks at times. I think they are mistaken in their understanding of democracy. It was surprising to see Rahul Gandhi recording people wearing masks. This is not how a Leader of Opposition behaves. Rahul Gandhi ji doesn't know how to behave like an LoP. This is not a fashion show going on in the Parliament, he said.
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till Wednesday, December 11, amidst a ruckus in the House today.
