Cuttack, Aug 16: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Chairman Srikant Tarai has yet to clarify the uncertainty surrounding the conduct of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), scheduled for August 31. While the exam date was previously announced in a notification issued on August 1, doubts remain over its actual execution.
Tarai stated that if the Special OTET is not held on August 31, a new date will be announced shortly. Discussions are currently underway to ensure the exam is conducted in a smooth and organized manner.
A dedicated committee is reviewing various aspects of the examination process, including the preparation and printing of question papers, and secure distribution to examination centers across the state. The board is awaiting the committee’s final recommendations before making a decision.
Once the evaluation is complete, the BSE will issue an official notification confirming the revised schedule, if necessary, the Chairman added.
