Malkangiri, June 15: In a tragic incident, 2 youths drowned in the Gumajharan waterfall in Odisha’s Malkangiri on Saturday.
The two visitors reportedly fell off the hill into the deep water while taking photographs rashly.
The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. However, they are suspected as the locals of Koraput.
Sources said, the two youths had been to the Gummajharan waterfall for a picnic. They fell off the hill and fell into the deep water. Responding their alarms, locals rushed to save them. However, they fished out the bodies after a longtime.
Police on being aware of the incident, visited the spot and seized the bodies for postmortem and answer other legal formalities.
