Rayagada, Oct 27: At least two persons were killed and four others sustained injuries in separate road mishaps in Odisha’s Rayagada late last night.
In the first instance, two bikes collided head-on at Bhujabal village under Chandili police limits in the district leading to the death of one person on the spot. Three other people sustained injuries in the mishap.

On getting the information, Chandili police along with fire service personnel arrived at the spot and rushed the injured person to Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for medical attention. The cops also seized the body of the deceased person for post-mortem.
The second mishap took place in Jodamba area under Kashipur police limits in the district when two bikes collided with each other leading to the death of one person on the spot. Another person sustained injuries in the mishap.
After receiving information, police arrived at the scene and seized the body for autopsy.
Further investigations are underway.
