Sundargarh, May 17: In a tragic incident, two persons were killed and eight others sustained severe injuries following a collision involving a Bolero near Dhanaghara under Chandiposh police limits in Sundargarh district on Friday morning.

According to the information, the accident occurred as the vehicle, en route from Bhogarai to Rourkela crashed into a divider. All the ten persons were rushed to nearby hospital where unfortunately two of them succumbed to their injuries.

Initial reports suggest that reckless driving may the cause of the tragic incident.

However, Law Enforcement Authorities seized the vehicle and detained the driver for further questioning and launched an investigation into the matter.
