Bargarh, Aug 14: In an unfortunate incident, two girl students were killed and another sustained grave injuries after truck overturned on them near Kadobahal square in Odisha’s Bargarh district today.
While Anupama Mallick and Jayshree Rana died in the mishap, Priyamanjari Panda is currently undergoing treatment.
As per reports, the mishap took place when the trio was returning from college.
Enraged over this, local villagers staged a road blockade demanding compensation for the families of the victims and strict action against the truck driver.
On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and pacified the agitators.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
