Two arrested for drugging and looting passenger in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: Khandagiri police today arrested two persons for looting a passenger at Baramunda bus stand by administering psychotropic drug through drink. The accused have been identified as Susant Rout and Samachal Subudhi. Police have seized cash worth Rs 1.06 lakh, a gold chain with locket, gold finger rings, 20 SIM cards, five wrist watches, foreign currencies and eight trolley bags from the accused. Police said that the modus operandi of the miscreants includes starting a conversation with the victims, befriending them and later looting them through spiked food and drinks. Police said that the accused have looted one Krushna Chandra Patra by administering psychotropic drug in beer. Police said that they are further verifying the antecedents of the accused.
