Nagarkurnool (Telangana), March 1: Rescue operations aimed at freeing eight individuals trapped inside a partially collapsed SLBC tunnel in Nagarkurnool made significant progress on Saturday, with authorities confirming the whereabouts of four of the trapped men.
However, Telangana's State Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao cautioned that their chances of survival were "one percent."
Speaking alongside Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy during a meeting with officials, Minister Rao stated that substantial progress had been made in the last few days. "In my assessment, the location of four individuals has been pinpointed using radar technology," he informed reporters at the site. He expressed hope that they could be rescued by Sunday evening.
