Koraput, Feb 14: A young man, identified as Rehman Khan, was killed following a trivial dispute at a village shop in Borigumma under Koraput police station. According to family members, the incident was a deliberate act of violence.

Reports indicate that Rehman Khan had gone to Adarsha Bisoi’s shop for drinking. A verbal argument reportedly escalated, and Bisoi allegedly attacked Rehman with a cricket bat, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby medical facility, where doctors declared him dead.

The police have taken the body for postmortem examination and have detained Adarsha Bisoi for questioning. A scientific investigation team has also reached the scene. The body is expected to be handed over to the family after the postmortem.
