Lamptaput, Sept 3: In an inspiring story of perseverance and determination, Ishak, a Gadaba tribal student from the Lamptaput area in Koraput district cracked the prestigious National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor.
Ishak, the son of Buda Badnayak, a farmer from Hanumal village under the Anakadeli panchayat, began his educational journey in humble surroundings, studying up to class VII in his village. Recognizing his potential, he continued his education at the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya in Mishingput, where he completed his matriculation.
Undeterred by the challenges of his background, Ishak set his sights on a career in medical science. His unwavering determination led him to Madurai, Tamil Nadu, where he pursued higher education with remarkable success, scoring an impressive 94% in his Plus II examinations.
With his eyes firmly set on his goal, Ishak appeared for NEET and successfully cleared the competitive exam. His hard work and dedication have now earned him a place at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
Ishak's journey is a testament to the power of resilience and determination, as he returns to his village, not just as a student, but as a symbol of hope and inspiration for others in his community.
