Tragedy strikes in Jajpur: 3 Labourers killed in soil cave-in during pipeline construction

Binjharpur, May 16: Tension triggered in Rahas village under Binjharpur police limits in Jajpur, following a tragic incident where three labourers lost their lives as the soil collapsed on them during pipeline construction. The identities of the deceased remain unknown, although they are believed to hail from Bihar and Tamil Nadu.
According to sources, the labourers died while excavating the ground, encountering a sudden collapse of soil that buried them underneath. As a result, they were asphyxiated and succumbed to their injuries.
Upon receiving the distressing news, local authorities, including the police, rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations.
An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further details awaited.
