Three-day workshop for OCA physiotherapists in Cuttack

Cuttack, Sep 5: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) in association with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) conducted a three-day workshop for the empanelled state team physiotherapists, here.
Faculty from the NCA namely Satheesh Kumar (Zonal Head, Sports Science and Medicine), Niraj Karamchandi and Harini Vemuni imparted professional guidance and training to the participants at the workshop, which began on Tuesday, revealed OCA sources.
The empanelled OCA state team physiotherapists of various age groups, who attended the workshop included Pranjali Palkar (Senior Women), Nafisa Neha (U-23 Women), Swati Suman Behera (U-19 Women), Smrutisikha Satpathy (U-15 Girls), Dinesh Sahoo (U-23 Men) and Swastik Mohanty (U-19 Men).
OCA secretary Sanjay Behera stated that the workshop aimed at developing knowledge and honing skills of Odisha state cricket team(s) physiotherapists to help the state level players during injuries and in adverse situations.
