Cuttack, May 18: In a unique initiative promoting fuel conservation and environmental awareness, three judges of the Orissa High Court rode bicycles to the High Court on Monday. Justice Savitri Ratho, Justice V. Narasingh and Justice S.S. Mishra cycled from near the Judicial Academy to the High Court premises.

The move comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to citizens to reduce the use of petrol and diesel and contribute towards protecting the environment.

Though the judges were accompanied by their PSOs for security, there was no special escort or heavy police deployment during the journey.
