Banki/ Bhadrak, Oct 14: Two persons were killed and another injured admitted to Banki hospital after an egg laden pick-up van ran over the motorcycle they were riding on Saturday.
The incident occurred while the three persons of Harirajpur under Banki police limits were on their way from coaching classes in Chakuleswar. The driver of the van fled from the spot after the incident. The three were rushed to Banki hospital where doctors declared two of them dead.
Similarly, one person was killed near Biras Chhak near Dhamra of Bhadrak district after an unknown vehicle hit him. He was rescued by locals and sent to the hospital in Ambulance. However, he succumbed while undergoing treatment.
