Bhubaneswar, 8/11: Three accused in Sunil kidnap case were arrested by the Infocity police in the city. Police has also rescued Sunil and seized two bikes and mobile phones used by the kidnappers. The three accused were identified as Sakil Khan,Shaikh Tahir and Sanidhya Mohanty, all from Mahanga area. {"id":20166} On Wednesday afternoon, Sunil Mohanty of Bhapur area of Nayagarh district had brought his car on rent to the Jagannath temple near the Infocity police station. Leving his passengers, he had gone to Mancheswar area to repair the vehicle. When he was returning to Jagannath temple, five youths had intercepted his car near the Xaviers Institute Square and kidnapped him to Jaipur Kumuda area near Mahanga. The kidnappers had held him hostage and demanded Rs 3 lakh from his family members. {"id":20167} Sunil’s family members informed the Infocity police, following which the police launched the manhunt. Finally it succeeded in arresting the kidnappers from Sahidnagar area. However, the kidnappers said that Sunil had earlier come with a ganja trader and had taken Rs 3 lakh from them for supplying the narcotic substance. They kidnapped Sunil to get the refund of the advance money they had paid. On the other hand, the family members of Sunil said they do not know the kidnappers.
