Bhubaneswar, May 25: In the ongoing third phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha, voter turnout of 35.69 percent was recorded till 1 pm today.
In this phase of elections, simultaneous polls are being held in Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha constituencies and 42 Assembly seats under them.
As per official data, Sambalpur Parliamentary constituency registered the highest voter turnout of 38.13 percent, followed by Puri Lok Sabha constituency with 37.26 percent polling.
Similarly, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar parliamentary constituencies registered 36 percent, 35.63 percent, 34.40 percent, and 33.01 percent polling respectively by 1 pm today.
Notably, the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha are being held simultaneously in four phases -- May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
