New Delhi, November 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hailed the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) massive victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, calling it a decisive triumph for good governance, development, and the values of social justice and public welfare.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Modi expressed his gratitude to the people of Bihar for their unwavering support and congratulated key NDA allies, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, LJP-RV chief Chirag Paswan, HAM leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, and RLM leader Upendra Kushwaha.

“I extend my deepest gratitude to my Bihar family, whose overwhelming support has blessed the NDA with a historic and unprecedented victory,” Modi wrote.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the resounding public mandate would empower the NDA to continue serving the people of Bihar and work with renewed dedication to the state's progress.

With the NDA coalition, consisting of the BJP, JD(U), and other allied parties, securing a commanding lead in 204 out of the 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly, the opposition Grand Alliance, comprising the RJD, Congress, and Left parties, lagged with only 33 seats—81 fewer than their tally in the 2020 elections.

Modi credited the NDA’s victory to the government’s commitment to all-around development. “The people have bestowed us with a massive mandate, recognizing our track record and our vision for taking Bihar to new heights,” he said.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his congratulations to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and other NDA partners for their roles in securing the victory. "I offer my heartfelt congratulations to Nitish Kumar ji and our NDA allies, Chirag Paswan ji, Jitan Ram Manjhi ji, and Upendra Kushwaha ji, on this remarkable win," he added.

Modi further acknowledged the tireless efforts of NDA workers, who played a vital role in communicating the coalition’s development agenda to the people. “I deeply appreciate their hard work and dedication,” he said.

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister outlined the NDA’s plans for Bihar’s development. “In the coming years, we will work actively to further enhance Bihar’s infrastructure, preserve its rich culture, and provide ample opportunities for the youth and women of Bihar to lead prosperous lives,” Modi said.
