Delhi, Dec 7: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Sunday announced an ex-gratia worth Rs 2 lakh to the next of the kin of each deceased in Arpora fire mishap, North Goa.

The PM also announced Rs 50,000 to each who are injured in the tragic incident, for treatment.

The assistance will be sanctioned from the Prime Minister National Relief Fund (PMNRF).

Taking to X, the PMO wrote, “An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF will be given to the next of kin of each deceased in the mishap in Arpora, Goa. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000.”
