Bhubaneswar, February 10: Both the Indian and England cricket teams have departed from Bhubaneswar, en route to Ahmedabad for the third and final One-Day International (ODI) match at the Narendra Modi Stadium on February 12.
The teams left Biju Patnaik International Airport in the evening, under tight security.
Before the departure, the Indian team bus left Hotel Mayfair around 4.30 pm, where a large crowd of cricket fans had gathered, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite players.
Fans cheered and waved placards as the players, support staff, and match officials boarded a special flight to Ahmedabad. The police ensured smooth and safe travel for everyone from the hotel to the airport.
India secured a dominant victory in the second ODI against England at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday, claiming an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The final match of the series is scheduled for 12th February.
