Bhubaneswar: Odisha continues to shine on the global para sports stage as its para shuttler Pramod Bhagat bagged gold medal in Men’s Doubles partner with Sukant Kadam and bronze medal in Mix Doubles partner with Manisa Ramdas in the Indonesia Para Badminton International Level 1 Tournament 2025, held from October 29 to 02 November 2025, in Solo, Indonesia.

In the SL3 SL4 doubles final, Pramod partnering Sukant defeated Indonesia’s Dwiyoko and Setiawan in straight sets 21–16, 21–12 and captured the gold medal.

Meanwhile, in the Mixed Doubles SL3–SU5 semifinal, India’s Pramod Bhagat and Manisha Ramadass engaged in a thrilling three-game encounter against Indonesia’s top-seeded pair F Setiawan and K Sadiyah. Despite a spirited comeback in the second game, the Indian duo narrowly missed victory, with final scores of 18–21, 21–13, 20–22, earning another bronze medal for the country.

Another Odia player Deep Ranjan Bisoyee In the Men’s Doubles SL3–SL4 semifinal, the Indian pair Deep Ranjan Bisoyee and Manoj Sarkar showcased great teamwork and determination but went down fighting against Indonesia’s D Dwiyoko and F Setiawan with scores of 11–21, 12–21. The duo displayed excellent coordination throughout the tournament and secured a bronze Medal finish for India.
