New Delhi, Jul 4: He is one of the greatest players among the current cricketers. Some believe he can break Sachin Tendulkar's rare record of century of centuries.

For his calculated game in ODI cricket and skill in chasing challenging totals, he is called Chase Master.

Recently, in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, though he had a very ordinary tournament, but he surprised everyone in the summit clash. Kohli held his nerves and enabled India to post a fighting score of 176/7 in the allotted 20 overs. Was it enough? Yes, ultimately it proved to be so. Because the opposition faltered in the final overs and lost the final by 7 runs.

India triumphed again. The champions also remained unbeaten in the entire T20 World Cup 2024 and lifted the trophy. Kohli was adjudged the Player of the Final.

Indian batter Virat Kohli is no more the captain of the national side. Neither he continues to dominate the game, as he used to be couple of years back. But when it matters most, say like the T20 World Cup Final 2024, he certainly comes good and shocks the rivals.

Having won acclaims, rewards, adulations for his exceptional skills, match winning abilities and scripting victories for his team, Kohli has become almost a living legend for the game of cricket.

Sportsmen, political personalities and greats of different fields often cherish the moments of meeting and interacting with him.

But on Thursday, after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence, Kohli stated it was a great hounur to meet the Indian PM.

Cherishing the memorable moments, Kohli shared two photos including a group picture and another including him and Modi. In the caption, he wrote that it was a great honour to meet the Prime Minister.

The maverick Indian batter wrote, "What a great honour meeting our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji today. Thank you Sir for inviting us to the Prime Minister's resident.”

The reaction revealed Kohli was excited and happy with the PM hosting the victorious Indian team.
