Bhubaneswar: Altogether 350 players are taking part in the eight different events of the three day long 12th All Odisha Open Tennis Tournament 2026, which kicks started at the Kalinga Stadium here on Friday, being organised by ACE Tennis Club.

 

In the U-14 girls singles semifinals, S K Shazfa and Sushree Karmakar will face Trisha Sahoo and Sanrachana Das respectively.  

 

The players will participate in the U-14 boys, girls, women’s singles, men’s singles, men’s open doubles, veteran 40+, 50+ and 60+ doubles categories. The tournament featured a total cash award of Rs 3.50 lakhs.

 

The champion and runners up of each category will receive Rs 12,000 and Rs 8,000 respectively. The semi-finalists and quarterfinalists will also get cash awards of Rs 5,000 and Rs 1,000 respectively.

 

Odisha Tennis Association President Asit Tripathy inaugurated the meet in presence of former PCCCF Debidutta Biswal, Odisha Police ADG Dayal Gangwar, Utkal Builders Director Amit Baid and Tournament Committee Chairman Dr Biswajit Mishra.
