Mumbai, July 4: Singer Sukhwinder Singh, who appeared on an upcoming episode of the singing reality show 'Superstar Singer 3' on Sony, complimented contestant Avirbhav S for his soulful rendition of the track 'Haule Haule', praising his expressive singing.
In the fun-filled episode, the contestants performed Sukhwinder's iconic songs to honor his illustrious career in the music industry.
Seven-year-old Avirbhav from Kochi, Kerala, stole the spotlight with his rendition of 'Haule Haule', a song from the 2008 romantic comedy 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
Sukhwinder praised Avirbhav's performance, saying, "Avirbhav is so good with expressions in his singing, especially the romantic expression. He does it so well. The way he reached that scale was outstanding, and to top it all, the way he smiled while singing 'Haule Haule' made him look like SRK."
He further acclaimed, "The way he understands each note is just amazing, and that is reflected in his performance. His effortless and smooth singing will take him a long way."
Sukhwinder Singh, renowned for hits like 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and 'Jai Ho' (from 'Slumdog Millionaire'), won a Grammy for Best Song in a Motion Picture. He also earned a National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for songs in 'Haider'.
