Puri, Nov 5: Internationally acclaimed sand artist and Padma Shri Awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik wished ace Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on his birthday and created a huge sand art at Puri sea beach.
Standing seven feet tall, the sand art depicted Virat Kohli inside Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, where India is set to clash with South Africa today.
Pattnaik also sculpted 35 sand bats and some cricket balls in his intricate sand sculpture, which was created using approximately five tons of sand.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, Pattnaik shared a video of the sand art and said “Happy birthday to the incredible cricket icon @imVkohli, a legend in every format of the game, my SandArt at Puri beach in Odisha. #HappyBirthdayViratKohli.”
