Bhubaneswar, Aug 10: The Odisha State Commission for Women (SCW) has registered a suo motu case in the mysterious death of girl student Subhalaxmi Sahu.
Sources said the Commission has directed the Commissionerate Police to submit the probe report within 15 days.

Earlier, two male friends of the deceased Sanjay and Anil — have been interrogated by the police in the death case.
The probe is underway to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of the girl student.
Worth mentioning, Subhalaxmi Sahu, a Plus II student of the Kamala Nehru Women’s College in Bhubaneswar was found hanging inside a room of Hotel Deepali on Puri-Cuttack Road here on August 4 afternoon.
