In a bid to expand the scheme’s coverage, the government has decided to conduct a fresh survey to identify and include nearly 2 lakh eligible women who were previously excluded. Beneficiaries who own vehicles, possess more than 5 acres of land, or have filed Income Tax Returns had earlier been disqualified under the scheme's eligibility criteria.

Bhubaneswar, July 30: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced a significant update regarding the state’s flagship Subhadra Yojana. The official portal for the scheme will reopen on August 9, following the disbursal of the third installment. Women aged 21 years and above will be eligible to apply.

Additionally, around 93,000 beneficiaries who have crossed the age of 60 have been shifted to the Department of Social Security and Welfare for appropriate inclusion under other welfare programs.
