Cuttack, Sep 5: Odisha sub junior girls soccer team travelled to Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh) to participate in the National Football Championship 2024-25 to be held from September 8 to 17.
Odisha are in Group D along with Rajasthan and Telangana. If they top the group, they will play the second semi-final on September 15 against the winner of Group B. The final will be held on September 17.
Similarly, the Odisha sub junior boys team left for Bengaluru (Karnataka) on Wednesday to participate in the National Football Championship 2024-25 to be held from September 7 to 22, informed Football Association of Odisha (FAO) sources.
Odisha boys have been placed in Group C alongwith Mizoram, Meghalaya and Delhi. If Odisha top Group C, they will have to play the highest placed team in Group A in the semi battle on September 13. The final will be played on September 22, the fixture revealed.
