‘Stree 2' promises bigger thrills and adventures, Says Rajkummar Rao

Mumbai, Aug 3: Actor Rajkummar Rao has teased fans about the upcoming film 'Stree 2', describing it as "bigger, more adventurous, and thrilling." Speaking during the film's promotion in Lucknow, Rajkummar assured that the sequel will bring more comedy than its predecessor. He emphasized continuity with the same beloved characters and humor that fans enjoyed in the original 'Stree'.
The 39-year-old star expressed confidence that audiences will experience the same authenticity and affection in 'Stree 2'. He highlighted the popularity of the song by Pawan from the film, which has already become a sensation. Rajkummar explained that due to the overwhelming love for 'Stree', they decided to expand its universe, making the sequel even more expansive and thrilling.
Co-star Shraddha Kapoor echoed his sentiments, expressing her desire for 'Stree 2' to receive as much love as the first film did, emphasizing its ability to entertain families together.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, 'Stree 2' is a horror comedy featuring a cast that includes Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The highly anticipated film is scheduled to release on August 15.
Regarding the sequel to the 2017 romantic comedy 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana', Rajkummar Rao mentioned his eagerness for a compelling storyline that would bring back his character, Sattu Bhaiya, reflecting on the warm reception the film received in Uttar Pradesh.
Directed by Ratnaa Sinha, 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' stars Kriti Kharbanda alongside Rajkummar Rao, revolving around the love story of Satyendra and Aarti sparked by a marriage proposal.
