​​​​​​​Sundargarh, Oct 16: In a gruesome incident reported from Kinjirkela area of Odisha’s Sundargarh district, a man allegedly strangled his wife to death following a domestic dispute.

According to sources, the accused, identified as Arjun Singh (32), allegedly strangled his wife Sanju Singh (26) to death on Thursday.

However, the motive behind the crime is believed to be a heated argument between the couple, which escalated to violence.

After learning about the incident, local residents immediately alerted the police. A team from the Kinjirkela police station reached the spot, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination.

The accused husband has been detained and is currently being interrogated by the police. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
