Puri, Jan 4: Ahead of the inauguration of the much-awaited Puri Srimandir Parikrama project which is scheduled on January 17, 2024, a preparatory meeting in this regard was held today.

The meeting was held in the palace of Gajapati King Dibyasingh Deb and chaired by him. Shree Jagannath Temple Administaion (SJTA) Chief Ranjan Das, Collector Samarth Verma, Managing Committee members, and other administrative officials attended the meeting.
Puri King will offer betel and start the process for ‘Yajnya’ from January 12. Several cultural and spiritual programs will be organized for three days.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to join the conclusion of the ‘Yajnya’ and will later inaugurate the Parikrama Project on January 17. The inauguration will be attended by members of around 60 temples across the country.
