Cuttack, March 1: The ‘Podhuan Jatra’, a spiritual magazine on the Madhav Cult was unveiled on Friday on the premises of the Madhav Shrine here at Niali Madhav in Odisha’s Cuttack district.
Spiritual head of the International Kriya Yog, Swami Pragyananand unveiled the pious literature during the short-time halt of the sheer in the Niali Madhav Temple on the occasion of the Prachi Parikrama.
Scores of sheers with local intelligentsias and devotees attended the function wherein the annual magazine was formally unwrapped following a formal puja and a number of allied rituals.
Among others, the chief co-ordinator of the ‘Podhuan Jatra’ magazine Trilochan Puspalak, Shri Ksheta Podhuan Jatra Co-ordinator Ramakrushna Mohapatra, Researcher of Prachi Sahitya Hansanath Sahu, Convenor of Weaver bird conservation Pitambar Rout, Social activist Jogindra Das and functionary of Kriya Yog Ashram at Balighai Rajkishore Nanda were present on the occasion.
