Puri, Oct. 13: A special bath of the Trinity was performed in Puri Jagannath Temple on Friday following blood stains were spotted here in the afternoon.
A special purification program was also undertaken on the campus as a part of the ritual.
Sources said, two servitors reportedly thrashed each other after an oral exchange over a matter. Meanwhile, one of them sustained injuries whereas a few drops of blood were found falling on the temple floor. Being informed, traditional ways of rituals and whole-wash of the temple were performed here to re-sanctify the campus.
