Bhubaneswar, March 24: Following an Election Commission of India (ECI) directives, the Odisha government has transferred the SP Deogarh and SP Rural Cuttack on Saturday.
The department of Home, Government of Odisha has issued a notification in this connection.
According to the order, IPS officer Anupama James, currently serving as SP Vigilance Organisation, would assume charge as Deogarh SP and Loganayagi Divya, would join as SP, Rural Cuttack. Divya is now serving as SP, Vigilance.
On the other hand, Ram Prasad Sahu and Mihir Kumar Panda, SPs, Deogarh and Rural Cuttack respectively, would report at the State Police Headquarters at Cuttack, the notification read.
