Bhubaneswar: A 17-member contingent from Odisha departed from Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar to participate in the 10th Junior National Boccia Championship, scheduled from 27 January to 2nd February at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The contingent included 11 Boccia athletes, along with coaching and support staff. The team was accompanied by coach Kola Jagannath Reddy and Manager Rakesh Chandra Behera.
The President and Secretary of the Para Sports Association of Odisha, Kamalakant Rath and Sunil Pradhan, extended his best wishes and congratulated the team, expressing confidence that the Odisha contingent would perform better than previous editions of the championship.
