Sonepur, May 23: In a tragic road accident, two passengers lost their lives while 25 others sustained grievous injuries in an accident in Odisha’s Sonepur district.
The incident occurred near Haradkhol Chowk on National Highway 57 here.
Sources said, a passenger bus collided with a vehicle, leading to the sudden demise of the two passengers and leaving 25 others seriously injured. All the injured individuals have been admitted to the Sonepur District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
Many residents expressed grief and shock over the tragic loss of lives.
Being informed, the police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
