Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: President Droupadi Murmu is in Odisha. She is scheduled to visit three districts today, starting with Jajpur, then Balasore, and concluding in Puri, where she will participate in various official programs.She is scheduled to attend religious, academic, and public programs during her stay.

As part of heightened security arrangements for the President’s visit, 32 platoons of police force have been deployed across the capital. Senior officers including 4 DCPs, 5 Additional DCPs, 23 ACPs, 33 Inspectors, and 121 Sub-Inspectors/Assistant Sub-Inspectors are overseeing the security measures. The Special Tactical Unit (STU) and 52 women constables have also been deployed.

The President will depart Lok Bhavan at 8:30 am and reach Jajpur by an Indian Air Force helicopter. She will offer prayers at the Maa Biraja Temple before proceeding to Balasore, where she will attend the convocation ceremony of Fakir Mohan University as the Chief Guest.

Later in the afternoon, President Murmu will arrive in Puri and stay overnight at Lok Bhavan.

On February 4, the President will perform Pindadaan at Swetaganga Pushkarini early in the morning and offer prayers at the Shree Jagannath Temple. She will then travel to Rairangpur, visit the SSD Government Girls High School at Mahuldiha, and interact with students.

In the afternoon, the President will address a public meeting at Kacheri Padia, where she will lay the foundation stones for several development projects. She will stay overnight at her residence in Rairangpur.

The following day, President Murmu will visit Murmu Chowk at Pahadpur, the Shree Jagannath Temple, and later tour the Similipal Wildlife Sanctuary. She will return to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon and attend the Black Swan Summit India at a city hotel in the evening.

The President is scheduled to depart Bhubaneswar on February 7 for Chhattisgarh, where she will inaugurate the Bastar Pandum 2026 festival in Jagdalpur.
